I worked closely with the Young Audiences team at BBC Sport creating graphics for their bespoke video and social content, mostly around the sub-culture surrounding sports and aimed at 16-24 year olds.


Atlanta: Super Bowl City

Atlanta: Super Bowl City was a 4 part mini documentary BBC Sport commissioned, focusing on the culture, music, food and sports of the city of Atlanta in the build up to Super Bowl LIII played between New England Patriots and the LA Rams, hosted at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

I created the overall look and feel of the graphic identity as well as the motion graphics - a graffiti and hip hop theme inspired by Atlanta culture.

 

Eat Like A Pro

Chef Jonny Marsh shows you how to cook some of the Premier League’s best football players favourite dishes, including Kevin De Bruyne, Ilkay Gündogan and Paul Pogba.


I created the graphics for this series, based on the idea that cooking is creative and comparable to creating art. The brush marks and animating splats, along with the separate ingredients look like the creative process of cooking a meal.

A series of short form videos from sports stars and celebrities about what they have been doing to keep busy and active at home during lockdown.

I created the illustrative graphics and animations for each episode.

Reactive content for the BBC Sport website and social channels. A compilation of James Milner’s instagram posts needed some motion graphics made for the Intro and chapter points.


Player Makers USA

Player Makers USA is a 6 part series of amazing stories from people who work in the background for some of the biggest names in American & global sport, including a hat maker from LA, a Tattoo Artist from New York, and a party planner from Miami.

I worked with the team to create a graphic identity for the series, inspired by 90’s American Hip-Hop and Basketball aesthetics and going big on the stars and stripes theme.

I created all the graphic elements and motion graphic pieces for the videos, working closely with the producer of the series.


The Art of Football

The Art of Football is a series that explores the culture, music, art and creative sub-culture that surrounds football - from video games to pop music to fashion. I created the identity for the series as well as the motion graphics for each episode.
